New: Counseling Guidelines for EOPS (Effective Spring 2018)

Counseling Guidelines for EOPS
(Effective Spring 2018)

3 Mandatory Counseling Appointments
As an EOPS student you are required to complete 3 mandatory counseling appointments each academic semester/term with an EOPS counselor. Students must complete 3 fall appointments, 3 spring appointments, and 1 summer appointment (if enrolled).

10-Minute Grace Period
Running Late? You have a ten-minute grace period to get to your EOPS appointment. Meaning if your appointment is scheduled for 8 a.m., you must arrive no later than 8:10 a.m. If you arrive after the allotted grace period, you will not be seen.

Rescheduling Appointments
Starting Spring 2018, EOPS will only allow students to reschedule appointments if they have an emergency. The student must show documented proof of the emergency and complete a mitigating circumstances form. Students must submit the mitigating circumstances form and proof of an emergency within 1 week of their missed appointment.
